    在美国过春节,饺子依然是新年必备的美食。今年过年,大密团体的居士自己动手,包出了各式各样、不同馅料的水饺。

    春节大家聚集一堂,人数众多,如何烹饪水饺,让大家在寒冷的天气吃到热乎乎的水饺,居士们想出了办法:包好的水饺先从品相上进行挑选,用水煮熟之后,立刻冷藏保存,吃的时候加工烹调就非常方便快捷了。

    饺子馅是一个关键环节,食材搭配的营养,味道鲜美和口感好的饺子馅,融入了居士们的真诚心意和新年的祝福!

    萝卜饺子是很好的补品,常言道:冬吃萝卜夏吃姜,不用医生开药方。白萝卜素有“小人参”之美称,具有消积滞、化痰清热、下气宽中、解毒等功效。萝卜馅饺子汤汁清甜,食用时溢出萝卜略甘之味,令人垂涎。春节美食琳琅满目,人们很容易过量饱食,食用萝卜饺子可以帮助消化。(这里需要提醒大家,从健康角度来讲:红白萝卜不能同食,需要在配馅儿时注意。

    白菜水饺也堪称佳品,物美价廉。白菜品种多,味道好,大白菜性寒冷,包成饺子蒸煮热食,用烹调方法改变其寒性,具有养胃生津、除烦解渴、利尿通便、清热解毒等功能,食物中白菜的解毒功效比西药阿莫西林的消炎抗毒作用还好。在春节气候变幻不定的时候,吃白菜饺子可以补充营养、疏通肠胃、预防疾病还能促进新陈代谢。

    有些居士还包了豆腐饺子,香菇饺子,芹菜饺子,还有的在饺子馅里稍加莲藕,香气更纯。居士们以自己真挚的心意,将色香味皆美,营养外观俱佳的水饺奉送给大家。如此精心、愉快准备的水饺,吃到的人肯定感受到健康和快乐。

    善知识讲过,为他人着想是天下第一大学问。看似简单的包饺子,从配料到加工,直到盛给每位僧众,人人都有一颗欢喜心。作为学佛的人,让众生欢喜,让大家健康,才是真真正正的存好心,说好话,做好事,当好人。
