Detoxification And Healing: Save My Husband From Urinary Tract Stone Disease

During our chanting sessions at the online Buddhist hall, we praise the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. In reality, it is they who are saving us, as evidenced by the continuous detox phenomena occurring among all participants. Remarkably, this also demonstrates the principle that “when one person practices Buddhism, the whole family benefits.” My husband, who does not practice Buddhism with me, also experienced detox phenomena while I was engaged in chanting sessions!
On August 18, 2013, while organizing detox documentation, I included not only my own but also my husband’s case. One piece of evidence was a record of detox points covering his abdomen. Upon examining the distribution of these points, researchers suggested that my husband’s urinary system might have a hidden issue, which was being addressed through detoxification. They recommended ongoing observation and photo documentation. My husband, although initially skeptical of Buddhist detox, became cooperative, allowing me to record his symptoms thoroughly.
This time, when I explained to him that the detox points indicated healing, he took it seriously. He even actively participated by describing his experiences and allowing me to photograph the process. Witnessing the changes in his body made him acknowledge the effectiveness of Buddhist practice, leading to a shift in his perspective. I was overjoyed! The detox cleared hidden health issues in his abdomen, akin to disarming a “hidden time bomb.” However, what followed was entirely unexpected.
Around midnight on August 18, my husband suddenly experienced acute abdominal pain. Sweating profusely and unable to bear the pain, I rushed him to a nearby hospital. The doctors conducted an ultrasound and urine tests, diagnosing him with a “left ureteral stone and hydronephrosis.” After receiving treatment in the infusion room, he gradually calmed down and fell asleep.
The next day, he reported feeling no pain. Relieved but cautious, I insisted he return to the hospital for follow-up tests and to discuss potential next steps for expelling the stone. To our astonishment, the examination results on the morning of August 20 revealed that everything was normal—no stones were detected in his urinary tract, and all test results came back clear.
The doctor attributed the sudden improvement to the stone being expelled naturally. Reflecting on the rapid progression, I inspected my husband’s abdomen and noticed that many detox points had disappeared, with some faint marks remaining. Could this detox process have facilitated the expulsion of his kidney stone? Likely so, as the process spared him from enduring immense pain or undergoing surgery. After this incident, detox points never reappeared on his abdomen.
As I documented these events, gratitude filled my heart. I am deeply thankful to the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas for healing my husband. The sequence of detoxification followed by stone expulsion in just one day was truly miraculous. Without their intervention, who knows how long his condition would have remained hidden or how it might have escalated?
This experience profoundly deepened my understanding of the Buddhas’ compassion and the power of the Dharma. Initially, I lacked confidence when detox signs appeared on my husband, worrying he might misunderstand since he wasn’t a practitioner. However, following the Venerable Master’s guidance, I diligently recorded and documented everything with a scientific mindset. The result was immense blessings and support from the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas—this is the true reward of Buddhist practice!
I have also realized that sincerity and honesty are critical to learning and practice. Through genuine effort and adherence to discipline, positive outcomes are inevitable. This incident strengthened my resolve to continue practicing Buddhism, follow the teachings, and lay a solid foundation for the future.
