DAMI’s Progress and Future Vision: A Year of Growth and New Opportunities

Since its establishment, DAMI has made significant progress every year, steadily advancing, with 2014’s development even exceeding expectations, bringing immense joy to all members of DAMI. What will the new year, 2015, bring?
On December 14, 2014, DAMI Buddhist practitioners held a unique online meeting, where over a hundred practitioners from various regions in the United States gathered. Together, they gained a clear understanding of DAMI ‘s development blueprint for the upcoming year and beyond.
The meeting began with a summary and report from the staff, giving everyone insight into the current management situation. The management has now entered a networked system, with initial steps towards economic management becoming more digitalized, clear, and transparent. This not only simplifies work procedures but also reduces management costs. To fully implement the philosophy of “Serve, Help, and Dedicate,” the group has created a dedicated service website, offering information and practical services for practitioners’ lives and work in the U.S.
The Venerable Master then shared the vision for the future, outlining the direction for development. Currently, DAMI is based in New York, solidly rooted while also expanding its view beyond. A broader space is waiting for us, and the expansion of Buddhist practice in the U.S. lies ahead. Though the group is still in the phase of preparing and consolidating, it is clear that in the near future, we will open doors of opportunity, guide the masses, and serve the well-being, happiness, and health of all sentient beings.
