Today, we come together to celebrate the first anniversary of DAMI’s founding. Over the past year, DAMI Buddhist practitioners have persevered with unwavering dedication, adhering to the mission of serving all beings. Rooted in New York, DAMI has expanded its reach both domestically and internationally, bringing benefits to countless individuals and spreading joy to those with karmic connections.
Through the changing seasons and the passage of time, 365 days of compassionate efforts and tireless dedication have yielded remarkable results: hundreds of wanderers have joyfully returned to their spiritual home, and many devotees have fulfilled their heartfelt aspirations.
DAMI members remain steadfast in upholding the core teaching, “When Buddha is present, follow him as the teacher; when Buddha is absent, follow the precepts as the teacher.” Guided by the mission of “Serve, Help, Dedicate,” we continue to move forward, step by step, with determination and purpose.
